Cherry is a compact and highly integrated Wi-Fi 6 System-on-Module (SoM) powered by the IPQ 5000 SoC. It's designed to simplify the creation of embedded devices and wireless systems, making it ideal for a variety of applications, including IoT and networking. The Cherry SoM combines a high-performance processor, substantial memory and storage, and powerful networking capabilities to accelerate time-to-market and reduce product costs.
Cherry supports two spatial streams (2x2 MiMo) and is driven by a 64-bit dual-core ARM Cortex A53 processor with a 1 GHz clock speed. The module is surface mountable with a small form factor similar to Lima and features compatible external castellated pins and additional inner LGA pins for extended functionality.
Commercial module version is operating in 0 - 65 °C temperature range.
